Charlie Fisher

Charlie Fisher singer / songwriter draws upon his life experience and creative talent to create thoughtful lyrics and catchy songs.

After some 30 years of parenting and a business career, which took him to over 30 countries, life threw some challenges at Charlie. Taking up the guitar, he quickly found solace in songwriting, and realised that this dormant talent offered a new branch of life.

Charlie explores the ever present themes of love (both falling into it, and falling out of it), and less well-travelled paths concerning race, homelessness, loneliness, mental illness, Alzheimer's, and "why oh why is the world the way it is"?

Charlie's musical influences have been many, ranging from the first vinyl 14 year old Charlie bought (Bruce, Darkness on the Edge of Town), through the wide genres of 70s / 80s / 90s music, and admiration for the contemporary talents of Ed Sheeran et al.
